During the occurrence of the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, our company, located in Chiba
Prefecture, also experienced a large-scale power outage. This event taught us the importance of a stable power
supply for operating our factories.
And taking the Fukushima nuclear disaster as a lesson, we keenly felt the need for a safer and cleaner energy
source—"renewable energy." As a result, we have become involved in the solar power generation business.
In August 2013, we established a solar power plant with a generation capacity of 738 kW on the premises of the "Kazusa Academia Factory."
Subsequently, we expanded our solar power plants nationwide, and by the end of 2020, we increased the number
to 24 locations, with a total generation capacity exceeding approximately 20 MW.
We will continue to actively promote expansion to contribute to Japan's clean energy sources in the future.
